These courses can be taken as a comprehensive programme or individually in response to a specific need. Each one is aimed at developing practical management skills for the 'participant’s' particular workplace. All of the courses apply the latest in management thinking to a practical context using an interactive and scenario-driven approach. The courses are delivered by experienced Salford Business School academics, who have first hand experience of occupational settings.
Recognition by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM)
The Management and Leadership Toolkit is recognised by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). The ILM is the UK’s largest management body, combining industry-leading qualifications and specialist member services. ILM is founded on the principle that skilled managers and leaders hold the key to creating productive workforces that deliver organisational and economic success. By attending these courses each participant will be eligible for an ILM Development award at an additional registration cost. Please note that this accreditation is provisional depending on final approval from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Who Should Attend?
The Management and Leadership Toolkit courses are designed to provide management skills to potential or practising Team Leaders, First Line Managers, Middle and Senior Managers. These include people who are new to a management position or who are about to undertake a management position and have had no formal training. The Management and Leadership Toolkit courses are also suitable for any experienced manager or supervisor who wishes to review, consolidate and enhance their management and leadership techniques, styles and knowledge.
In-company Toolkit
All our Management and Leadership Toolkit courses are offered in-company. We will design a course in partnership with your specific organisation, and use a responsive and flexible support team alongside experienced professionals in the delivery. Depending on training needs, we can provide coaching, facilitation and blended learning approaches. As learning and development are critical to organisational development, our courses are only offered in-company. These customised courses offer the advantage of meeting the specific needs of a client group and can be used as a way of supporting the overall aims and objectives of individual organisations. If you would like to discuss staff development in any other area, please contact us.Further Information
