Diffusion

"Welcome to the web-based Internet resource for international researchers concerned with the "diffusion" of information systems and related technologies", Tom McMaster (2000).

You can find out here how IS IT diffusion has grown to become an important research area. Vast amounts of money are spent trying to get users to adopt new IS IT innovations. Without research into why some of these projects are successful, whilst others fail, money will be wasted or used ineffectively.

These pages contain some background to the growth of the diffusion school of thought. Some general history is given, whilst the main content is short essays that have been written for the site giving biographies of the Grand Diffusionists.

This page contains a list of researchers who have worked or are currently working on diffusion-related projects and papers. Each researcher's listing gives their full name, contact addresses, and where available, a link to their homepage. Some researchers have also submitted a list of their relevant works.

The links page contains guided links to different sites and works (external links). They are grouped into categories and all listings of papers contain the abstract from the paper itself.

These pages contain information on DIGIT and IFIP working group 8.6. They give information on researchers involved in the projects and also upcoming events and news. Coming soon....want to be kept up-to-date with up and coming events, new papers, books etc? Bookmark this site and watch for updates.
