Aleksej is a full member of the Information Systems, Organisation and Society (ISOS) Research Centre which is part of the Salford Business School.
He is also an associate member of the Centre for Enterprise and Innovation Research (CEIR).

Aleksej is involved in a number of commercial projects where he works with teams of other academics and commercial partners. One of such activates is Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP), current partnerships are with organisations such as Cetus Solutions, Beta Group and ASE PLC.
Commercial training
Aleksej also developed and delivers commercial training courses such as Search Engine Marketing Management and Search & Social Media Marketing.
